Rare family. Very rare.

Not many parents could even imagine what Greta’s parents did.

When Greta fell into depression and fell out of school they didn’t scold her, didn’t judge here, didn’t put her down and didn’t force her to shove chemical psychiatric pills. on the contrary they left their day-jobs to be with her and support her.

Greta almost stopped eating and lost a lot of weight. Her parents began to realize how the climate disaster is so dear to Her and instead of trying to get her out of it, or tell her she’s just a paranoid child - they did the opposite.

They start to cooperate. take action. Became vegan, stop flying, spend more time on activism and even change jobs that won’t involve flying. Only because it was so important to their 13yo daughter!

I’m asking you: how many parents would go that far??? This is massive. This is exceptional. This is what gave Greta the backbone to go out and set the world on fire.

If she is heard by her parents, maybe the world will listen too?

It didn’t end there: When Greta felt better and went back to school she told them she wanted to school strike on Fridays, they weren’t fond of it. They didn’t like the idea. But when she said she want to do it anyways, they didn’t stop her. Yes, they told her “You are alone in this” but they didn’t stop her, punish her or ground her like every other average family would do.

I strongly believe that without their advanced reaction to all Greta’s weird and accentric behavior, Greta might not have found the inner strength to go out there and fulfill her destiny. The revolution might not have happened. Who would have guessed what soon to be followed? Who would have believed that this little shy introvert girl will impact so many hearts and bring millions to the streets !?

The new massive wave of change owe Greta’s family a huge debt. Just imagine how our world would look like if all parents were that kind, supportive and free towards their children?

How many souls came here to change the world but were crippled by their families?
