"Teaching Happiness" in Austrian Schools,

I recently made a proposal to the PH in Wien for a course for teachers of English presenting the Action for Happiness Toolkit as material for classroom use to support the teacing of English as a second language.

A teacher friend thought that use of the materials as topic based learning could be of use - her classes are gymnasium and the materials while designed for younger native speakers could bring a wide vocabulary and inspire new thought processes in Englilsh, increasing fluency and confidence.

Since it seemed like a good idea, I am interested to present that directly to teachers as part of a series of events in Vienna, designed to inspire and motivate teachers of english, both in the school system and in language schools and institutions whic offer training for kids and for businesses.

I am currently asking friends who teach a question. The question is "If you were designing an afternoon or evening session of value to teachers of English in Austria, what would it look like please?" Three are considering this already, with different offers for business English trainers and for School system teachers - University student teachers are of course a third niche.

If you are a teacher trainer or potential teacher trainer, I ask you the question above too. If you are a teacher of English, I am interested in the answers to another question. " What on earth would drag you out to attend such an event, and how often might you come?"

There is a facebook group if you are interested. VH CC t.e.a teachers of english in austria
