Story - I remember when I was in school we had a girl from Diplomat parents who started in our class, speaking NO German at all,... the first semester she just sat in class trying to understand, the teachers tried to help but mostly let her listen and give her the time. We tried to help in the breaks and spoke German with her. during the second semester she startet actively taking part during classes from time to time and also got grades in most courses. After a year she spoke German fluently
