Vienna Hub - Education 2023

One of the four focus areas of Vienna Hub is Education. Promoting and Connecting People with Passion across Education

We have met some Great Educators in the last years, for example Tracy and Jim, both sadly passed on to pastures new

We are meeting more great educators now, thankfully. Most recently Denis, Simon, Seher, Puspharani and now Grace

There are pockets of brilliance in the world of education, and many people with passion. We are seeking to profile some of these here. We are seeking to connect people in education, and people learning through education, in a series of Woodland Meetings in Vienna over the next months.

Vienna Hub - India 2023

Working on proposals to promote and connect people with passion in India, a country with an estimated population of 1.408 billion in 2021

part A - present people with passion to the attendees of an event at AAI in Wien, perhaps through posters, flyers, a book, slide show, websites

part B - connect people in India to people in Vienna through a program of zoom meetings. One target is kids to kids for educational and friendship building, based on experiences such as linking Malaysia to Kakuma via zoom. One is project leaders to kids and to adults for raising awareness

Vienna Hub - Afrika Tage 2023

Working on proposals to promote and connect people with passion at the Afrika Tage event 2023 in Vienna https://wien.afrika-tage.de/kids

part A - present people with passion to the attendees, perhaps through posters, flyers, a book, slide show, websites

part B - connect people in Afrika to people in Vienna through a program of zoom meetings. One target is kids to kids for educational and friendship building, based on experiences such as linking Malaysia to Kakuma via zoom. One is project leaders to kids and to adults for raising awareness

part C - connecting ( social ) entrepreneurs and artists ( for example Mabel, Louise, Ola & Elvis ) across continents, a series of zoom meetings connecting entrepreneurs in Africa with similar in Vienna at the event ,

- present a showcase of The Learning Space from The Learning Street, a space where people can access fast reliable affordable internet as members of a connected global learning community. Link from Vienna to sample Learning Spaces, ie at PDRI in Kenya, at the Innovation School in Uganda and at Tinap in Sierra Leone. The Learning Space is typically a 25m2 room with art, internet and 12 seats for learning.
