So this is it. 🎺🎺🎺 The big release by the team at British in Austria of all the information we were given at the British Embassy/BMI meeting on Friday 9 October about what ALL UK citizens must do if they wish to live in Austria from 1 January 2021.
We wanted to present it in an easily digestible and accessible form and in plain English with a glossary. We also decided to launch a British in Austria website to go with it, not least to target all those people who choose not to engage with social media.
Sorry you've had to wait so long but we hope it was worth the wait.

We know that many people will still have questions. There is a Helpline number at the bottom of the graphic which is operated by the Austrian government in English. Don't be afraid to use it: if your circumstances are quite unusual then they are probably the only people who can help you.

There will be discussion forums on the BritishInAustria.net site soon but they've been turned off for a couple of days to give you time to digest this information.

Finally, please do SAVE, PRINT and SHARE this graphic with any Brits you know who still might not be aware of the need to take action soon. The British Embassy (UK in Austria - British Embassy Vienna) knows there are lots of these people out there and they are very hard to contact!
